To get to Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm, you can just book Grab and the journey cost between RM13-14 per way from Genting. There is an entrance fee for the farm. It was not the strawberries season when we visited, so no strawberries picking.
The exhibits are dated but it is a great experience for the children. There are flowers garden which include lavender, roses and many more. Rows of passion fruit creeping above us with spreads of strawberries plants around us. Though the strawberries are not ready for harvest, you can imagine how beautiful it would be with dots of reds when the strawberries are ready.
The strawberry tea and chocolate are our favourite and we make it a point to buy a box or two home everytime we visit the farm. There are also snacks stall with limited selection of corn cup, popcorn, and ice-cream. They sell strawberry plushie which you can bring back as souvenir.

They will be moving out in April 2024. So it is recommended to go there soon. Many things are being offered at buy 1 free 1. A good place to be in and the plantations are nice. There is a charge of entrance fee rm20. Note: strawberries pluck are charged at rm8 per 100gram.

Strawberry farm is a great place to visit while on the way to Genting Highlands. Beautiful flowers all colors. Well organized strawberry rows, take a basket and a scissor, pick your strawberries, weigh them and it’s all yours. Pass by the gallery to buy any strawberry pencils, souvenirs, pillows and others. Don’t forget to drink a cup of fresh strawberry.
Pleasant visit.

I and my cousin had a hard time to get a transport in this Strawberry Leisure Farm. If you are planning to go there, just make sure you'll ask the right people (which is very hard to find). I can’t believe it, that even the Information Counter in First World Hotel doesn't know how to get there.
Below are the ways to get to Strawberry Leisure Farm:
1. If you go to the Bus Terminal near First World Hotel, try to get a Shuttle Van to Mushroom Farm (Seafood Mushroom Farm Restaurant). The Strawberry Farm is just beside the Mushroom Farm. I think its 2MYR/head.
2. You may take Taxi from Bus Terminal near First World Hotel but it will cost you around 80MYR (can be more expensive, depending on nationality maybe).
3. You may take a shuttle bus (Free) to Awana Hotel in front of First World Hotel and go down in Gohtong Jaya. Strawberry Leisure Farm is walking distance from the bus stop or from the Chocolate Factory (does not look like a factory; it’s a small chocolate shop).
4. You may take skyway to the Lower Station and take a Shuttle Bus (Free) to Awana Hotel and go down in Gohtong Jaya and walk to the Strawberry Leisure Farm.
5. You may take skyway to the Lower Station and take a taxi to Strawberry Farm.
FYI, Chocolate Farm, Strawberry Farm, Lavander Farm and Mushroom Farm are only in one area.
• Taxi from First World to Strawberry Farm normally cost 80MYR
• Shuttle from First World to Awana is Free of Charge
• Shuttle from Bus Station (Genting) to Mushroom Farm is I think 2MYR/head
• Skyway one way is 6MYR
• Taxi from Skyway Lower to Strawberry Farm is 10MYR (one way)
• If you ask the lady who’s selling the strawberry’s in the Skyway Lower Station, she will tell you that taxi to Strawberry Farm (return) is 30MYR, then she will call her cab driver to pick you up.
The place is nice specially the lavender farm. It only took us an hour to explore the whole place. Only the Lavander Farm has an entrance fee of 3MYR/head.
Have a safe trip!!

After reading the reviews, I decided to skip taking a taxi to the Strawberry Farm since it was so overpriced. However, the journey to the farm took a lot longer than expected.
I had thought that I can reach the farm with one shuttle bus. However, it turned out that I had to take a shuttle bus to Awana Hotel from the Bus Terminal first (hourly interval), and switch to another shuttle bus to Genting Skyway (hourly interval) at Awana Hotel. The shuttle bus schedule to Genting Skyway at Awana Hotel was not updated, showing only the bus arrival times for Awana Hotel and Genting Skyway. The middle stop (where you alight to walk to the farm) Gohtong Jaya was not listed. The full shuttle bus schedule was only pinned up at Genting Skyway shuttle bus stop (20 minutes interval). You won't need to pay any fares if you take shuttle buses, but transportation time would take 1 plus hours from Bus Terminal to Strawberry Farm.
I realized that it was super hard to get a taxi on the roads. The shuttle bus driver dropped me off along the roadside, and not the bus stop at Gohtong Jaya as he was supposed to. I did not realise at the time that i was supposed to wait at the (desolate) bus stop, which was the only one in the area. I heard that Genting Skyway was pretty near, and attempted to walk there. Please do not attempt to walk there, it's dangerous since your surroundings could get foggy in an instant. There are no pedestrian walkways at all, and you can only walk along the main roads. It's less than a 5 minute drive from the farm to Genting Skyway, but it would probably take at least 30 minutes walk (provided you don't get lost along the way).
To get back to First World Hotel, I walked back to the Strawberry Farm and asked the office personnel to call a cab for me. I was shocked that the staff had no means to help me get one. She just called out to a private cab driver who drove his clients there. Luckily, he agreed to drive me to the nearest Genting Skyway for MYR15, reduced to MYR10 after I agreed to visit the Chocolate Factory (to be specific, a shop selling chocolate straight from a factory) so that he could get some commission (MYR5 I think). He could not drive me back to First World (he quoted MYR30) since his clients booked him for a round trip. I realised that most people would book cabs for round trips, or drive to the farm. I was the only one who took shuttle buses to go to the farm, despite it being a Saturday. To earn some extra money, the taxi drivers at the Strawberry Farm would be glad to drive you to Genting Skyway while their clients were touring the farm, but it is highly unlikely that they could spare the time to drive you back to First World.
On a side note, it would be prudent to note that the cable cars at Genting Skyway might shut down temporarily due to bad weather. The shuttle buses would be your best bet. However, you might want to note that the shuttle buses do not run during meal times (aka 1pm and 6pm). I myself missed the 6pm bus at Awana Hotel and had to wait for the next one at 7pm.
The Strawberry Farm itself was so-so. I finished touring the strawberry farm, lavender garden, and mushroom farm under an hour. I had more fun shopping at the stalls (in pasar malam style) in the farm itself. I bought some strawberry chocolates MYR38 for 3 boxes), but I regretted my purchase since it was really cheap chocolate that tasted horrid. If you want to buy chocolates, buy it from the chocolate factory. I bought 3 for 100 MYR chocolates there (300g per packet), namely Tiramisu, green tea, and normal chocolates with almonds. Look out for their best-selling Tiramisu dark chocolate (w/ almonds). Their salespeople would definitely be recommending that too.
P.S. The chocolate factory is the last shop along the row of shops from Elements Hotel. (Elements Hotel is in the middle, the chocolate factory is the last shop along the right side). It is impossible to miss since the farm, hotel and row of shops are the only buildings in the immediate area after you alight at Gohtong Jaya bus stop.

We decided to visit based on reviews and because we were desperate to make our trip to Genting more worth it. Don't get me wrong; the views and climate are spectacular, but with the theme park under construction, there's really not much to do in Genting right now.)
We took our two boys, ages 10 & 13 here, hoping to dive into fresh strawberries, see some honey bees and even the lavender farm sounded nice.
Unfortunately, it was off-season, so berry-picking was off limits. In their defense, they did mention this before we purchased admission, but I wasn't thinking that that would mean that there wouldn't really be any berries to taste, buy, etc.
We wound our way through the farm, seeing many beautiful flowers, but nothing spectacular at all. We began to wonder if flowers was all we were going to see.
There comes a place in the path where it becomes one way. No turning back. At this point, the path is lined with vendors trying very hard to peddle their completely unrelated, kitschy wares. It was weird, honestly. Not what you'd expect to find at a farm. For every flower bed you wind through, there are twice as many vendors.
From the pictures we took, you'd guess we had a great time, because there are lots of little photo spots, but I would never recommend this place when the berries aren't in season. Totally missed the point of going to a berry farm.

Took a grab car from genting premium outlet to strawberry farm and it cost RM7. Entrance to the park for adult is RM15 and kid are RM10. Strawberry picking per kg is RM80. For city children, it an experience to pick strawberry so I would say go for it but do note the strawberries taste was just average so I won’t suggest to pick a whole basket.

It was a decent place to visit only if you have time when you are in Genting.... The place only has a bare minimum plot of lavender, but pleasant in general nonetheless...

We approaching the farm by 430pm after visiting genting premier outlet. The facilities are old and not well maintenan. When fren and i was approaching the strawberry farm, we politely asking where have the self picking corner, the service crew was rudely tell us find it behind and shall be no strawberry to pick! And ask us to ask another staff at behind area.. When we walk to behind area, the staff was too busy playing the phone and again rudely told us no strawberry can be pick!sincerely hope ur counter person can told us: Hei, there will be no strawberry can be picken when we purchase for the entrance ticket! But we do notice another farm having the straberry and the same staff told us it is not mean for us to self pick... Didnt expect the way too commercial selling area along the exit road... And the strawberry ice cream machine our of services.. Spending overall 15minutes with worst experience.. Thx

when will be a good time to visit the strawberry farm? We are thinking if visiting in end oct 2019. Is it the strawberry season? Is it worth visiting the farm during this period? Also is there any good timing to go? e.g. morning or late afternoon to go?
Thanks.

It’s good to go anytime between 9 am to 6 pm as long as weather is fine. Because the strawberries are grown in controlled environment it should be okay in October.

I will stay in Kualalumpur. Please suggest me when to visit the farm. On my way to KLA to genting? Or way back from genting to KLA. TIA
Written 4 June 2019
As it is on the way to Genting Highland from KL so you can visit on any way, but I would suggest to visit it while going to Genting Highland as it takes around 30 to 45 minutes and its open area so early day visit will be better and you might be tired while going back and will not be able to enjoy.

yes, quite far as you need to get in cable car from first world and get down in gohtong jaya to come kebun strawberry.

Is there lockers or somewhere to leave bags for safekeeping because I'm planning to go straight home after visiting the farm
Written 8 January 2019
There is no locker over there but there is one reception area where you can ask to keep your luggage if they allow. If nothing valuable then you can keep it inside the taxi also.
