We stayed in Pradores Bielsa, which is located in the park and walked from the hotel to 2 sets of waterfalls. Not an easy hike but very rewarding! The waterfalls are breathtaking. So is the walk in the valley on any of the many trails. Pick the trail that meets your physical capability and enjoy yourself!

Nice valley, drive until the end and park there for some beautiful walks in the national park of Monte perdido.

Start of some incredible hiking routes of Pyrenees mountains. View from Balcón de Pineta is breathtaking and if you just have physical capabilities of doing that hiking train, it is totally worth every step you have to take. The earlier you start the better.

Easy drive into the valley. After 14 km you reach the end. Now you can hike up the mountain along a spectacular waterfall, and go further into the Llano de Larri. The more sportive can continue on into the higher altitudes. Enjoy the bar and restaurant in the Parador, it is worth a visit!

The Valle de Pineta is the starting point for a both remarkable and arduous walk up to the Balcon de Pineta (depending on time of year). From there you can go to the famous frozen lake or overnight at the refuge. For those "just" going to the Frozen lake, be aware that this is not for the faint-hearted. 3-5 hours... More

A beautiful valley where you can do various walking routes. There are many waterfalls to enjoy. There are fewer people than in other places like Pradera de Ordesa.

If at all possible, stay at the parador at the end of the road that goes from Bielsa into the Pineta valley. There is a wonderful, rather strenuous hike up to the glacier that is one of the best you'll ever take. The Pyrenees are very much worth exploring, and for the adventurous hiker there are few better places on... More

Beautiful valley surrounded by peaks and with a diversity of forests. Busy at holiday times. Try it in winter.
