Our family group of 5 adults and 5 children visited 3 British themed restaurants here. Uncle Alberts Fish and Chips, a reasonably priced quality restaurant. They have specials Monday-Friday. The Dome has a varied meal menu and great children’s sundaes and coffee drinks hot or...More

Basically... Nothing much here. Its quite peaceful but yeah. Nothing much. If you're staying nearby (like i do, i stayed at Jazz Suite) then i suppose having night stroll over here is okay. However i would not recommend someone to purposely take a cab over...More

Nothing much in this area but the sea side and you can see the Penang skyline from here. Mostly boats and private yatches are parked here. A good stroll in the evening time, else waste of time on a hot or rainy day.

Straits Quay has restaurants that my family love such as Blue Reef and there are always events that are happening. Truly a good place to feel the sea breeze and relax with your family.

Unless you going there for a specific reason it is actually very disappointing. Not many shops and mostly specialty of nature. Sorry me interesting and good restaurants around but it is far out. Consider purpose before you go.

Stayed here, it’s cheap but dead quiet and limited options regardless of time of day or night, unless you desire a westernised diner meal. Would I recommend it to someone if they have come to Penang for the food and to get in the mix,...More
