Relaxing afternoon - if you go during a quiet time!

Large bathing spaces with all sorts of bubble emissions! This is obviously somewhere frequented by all and sundry which adds to its charms. Love the jacuzzis on the room terrace!

I was appalled to read the comments of Angelique from Pau - especially the insulting comments about a staff member. As a regular user of the facilities at Aquensis I can testify that it is without doubt a great asset to the region, in fact one could say a "petit coin de paradis". The staff are not only well qualified... More

We visited this place after our consecutive hiking trips . The fee in the afternoon is a little higher than the morning and evening. It has a big hot water pool, hamam, Jaccuzi, sauna. Nice clean shower areas, toilets . There is shower gel available in case you forget to carry your own. If possible carry your own swim wear,... More

We visited Aquensis for two hours the week after the French holidays so the spa was pretty quiet. We made full use of all the features in the main pool, the saunas and the hammam. The water jets were great for relaxing tired muscles after cycling in the Pyrenees. All the features in the main pool are on a timer... More

Tricky to review something that calls itself a spa, has the kit and treatments but behaves like a municipal baths. The pool area is impressive, but full to bursting. People hog the blowers around the sides and hanging about waiting to be able to enjoy an 'experience' rather takes the relaxation out of it. Good hamman, with various areas more... More

Thank you for your comment. It is true that during the holidays, Aquensis welcomes vistors lot more, especially in August. We note that you still enjoyed some entertainment. We advise you to come rather in the morning during the holidays. More

Visited the Aquensis with my niece after an active day in the mountains. The spa was beautiful and we enjoyed over a hour in the sauna, thermal water, and hamman ( more intense than sauna. It was only 11 euros and was so relaxing. Our skin felt amazing afterwards and we wish we had something like this in the states.... More

What a wonderful spa! As you can see from the picture there is a quite dramatic and beautiful cathedral ceiling. Our grown son liked it so much he returned twice with other friends and family members. Plan on spending at least two hours in the baths as there are a lot of choices. We especially liked the musical baths and... More

The place is clean and non slippery (I had an accident in another spa!!), the staff is friendly and helpful. The different areas of this place (sauna, steam room, pools) are clean. It can get really crowded though.

Lovely Spa in Bagneres-de-Bigorre and excellent value for money. Pool is very relaxing and the jets are excellent therapy for aching muscles. 2 hot tubs on the roof with lovely views.

We had originally planned to spend a lot of time here, but were advised to travel further to the Balnea Spa which had more on offer. However, we made an off-peak evening trip here as well. This is a nice spa, but does not have the biggest range of facilities. The main pool is fantastic and we spent most of... More
