The building of the temple, existing now, has a height of 78 meters and was built in the 16th century. According to legend, the original temple on this site was erected by Krishna's grandson, Vajranabha, on the site where Krsna's main palace was previously located. It is said that the construction of the temple was entrusted to the architect demigods... More

The temple is far from Rajkot but it was worth a drive. EXCELLENT, well maintained temple, no pushing around and not too crowded and a person can have crystal clear view of the diety. The temple structure and work done are exquisite. There are smaller temples of others which also can be observed.

Hindus love to visit this holy place. We were lucky to visit around holi festival and got a chance to enjoy colours that are thrown on visitors by priests during aarti. Great moment in deed!

Jai Dwarkadhish! This is a place where I would be less judgemental and absorb the most of the spiritual vibration.... Ignoring any other inconvenience.

The temple I am told is about 5500 years old. It was built by Viswakarma on the behest of Krishna's great grandson (Pradhyumn's grandson). The temple is well kept and maintained. We were there a day before holi and experienced the pundits playing holi with the devotees. One must visit for a personal experience. I suggest that you take the... More
