Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited Point Cook Coastal Park by bike on 1st Nov 2019. I totally enjoyed the peace and quietness of this area.
Outside temperature was 32 C. I highly recommended to explore this place by bike.

Headed out to Point Cook last weekend looking to discover another amazing environmental nature park close to Melbourne and I wasn't disappointed! I took the train to Williams Landing Station and a connecting bus to Point Cook road. Following a short walk of 1.5 km I had arrived in the unique saltmarsh vegetation that is typical of the surf coast. The coastal park itself was relatively quiet but very relaxing with an amazing outlook across the Southern Ocean. I managed to see a range of birdlife including a Flame Robin (photo below) and enjoyed spending most of the morning on a bench seat/table overlooking the coast. Definately recommend!

Maybe we just picked the wrong day to go - cold and a bit drizzly, even though it was the end of November!
Not another person in sight.
We walked from the car park to the Tower, about 1.5kms each way. The Tower is a Monument to Migration and Aspirations. We wondered why they put it in such an out of the way place! There were some good views from the top, over the wetlands.
A pity about the encroachment of all the housing subdivisions in every direction.
After walking to the tower we drove to the other part of the park, where the playground and toilets are. Not very exciting for us, but probably good for families on a sunny day, which we did not have!

Good place to do a picnic and have fun with kids. There is toilet, BBQ and little kids park. The beach has lots of seaweed, but it is not a big problem if the kids want only have fun in the sand.

Great place for kids to explore. Multiple playgrounds, large areas of grass to run in and an untouched beach. The beach is not a manicured urbanized beach. It is exactly what is called , a coastal beach. It's a great place for a more quiet beach hangout. It is part of the point Cooke marine sanctuary which is home to a heap of water and plant life as well as birds. It's not like the public beaches as you would know them, which we actually found as it's charm.

This is a perfect place for undercover kids' parties (get in early to grab your BBQ) or for a play time with the kids or a swim at the beach, or simply just to sit at a picnic table and enjoy the moment. There is a lovely track down to the beach - keep an eye on your kids, have heard of them disappearing down the path and into the water - but do consider this area for a get together or party or BBQ. The kids play area is particularly good, right next to the BBQs so you can watch them, there are toilets, there is birdlife and it's beautiful. Highly recommended for a picnic lunch, brunch, whatever, on a sunny day. Do be mindful that there ARE bitey things IN the SHALLOWS of the water (sometimes) not on the sand, but the walk along the beach is particularly pretty. There is a lot to explore. Fly a kite, throw a frisbee, play backyard cricket or tennis, volleyball. Just - Enjoy your day!

A new and invigorating area in Werribee, nice beach for the children and to walk the dog. All the sea front has been man made for a new marina in Wyndham.

I guess you wouldn’t think you were just outside of Melbourne. There are walking trails, parks and nice views out into the bay. There is plenty of parking and amenities situated at regular intervals. A lovely place to visit.

Hello I was wondering if it is possible to book the pavilions and if so how much do they cost?

Hello, I’m just wondering if we’re allowed to bring our little dog and if so can people and dogs go in the water?
