With 3002 steps to the peak, it is a good exercise for sure and you do not have to pay anything at all. The natural vegetation to the peak was kept although there were some little houses along the way. We even encountered a horse...More

Caution: Do not attempt the climb unless you have an above average level of fitness. It is easy to get carried away by the thrill of summiting as soon as possible, but if you blow up along the way, a thousand more steps back down...More

The view was so and so and transportation to and from the place was not convenient. Not recommended for people with heart ailments. Early morning around dawn is recommended.

Very popular during Lent, it is also a good place to see anyday! The steps with interrupted walks are good to get rests in-between!

At first it was exciting... unti you reached the 600th step because you still have 2403 more to go. hahaha! you should climb slowly but surely. painful but it is worth the pain. going there is expensive (from city proper) around 100-200 pesos one way...More

If you want to challenge yourself , this is a test for those without health problems. it has 3,003 steps to climb plus a 10 to 15 minutes of trekking before reaching the peak.
