I visited Phong Nha cave on my own, not via the caves tour centre but there is no place to review the caves on TA. This cave is accessed via boats that seat 12 people. If you are not in a group, you just wait...More

Thouroughly enjoyed Phong Nha Caves. Boat costs 360,000 dong per boat, return which sits 12 people, plus entrance fee (240000 dong pp). We teamed up with some other people to split the cost of the boat, takes about 30 mins along the river to the...More

We rented a boat to get to the cave. The tour leaves from the bank of the river by the Phong Nha Tour Center. The boat is propelled by a motor until you approach the entrance of the cave. Then staff shuts down the engine...More

The caves are magnificent; both for their natural ancient artistry and for their history in sheltering the people from the American bombs.

The phong nha cave is completely breathtaking. Drifting in on a boat and taking in the cavernous space is a unique experience. The history regarding this place as a haven for the Vietnamese during the us bombings only adds to the spectacle. Well worth seeing.

I really enjoyed Phong Nha cave with the boat tour and the birdies flying inside the cave. I guess the view of water and being near water really calms me so I do prefer the wet cave over the dry cave. I was in line...More

i would definitely say the caves and phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Halong Bay is far too built up and the excursions dont take you into any on the jnlets or onto the outcrops.
Hi....how do you find out about private cave tour.......can you provide some help. thanks John
