We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to Santarem to view the Eucharistic Miracle. On the way back we visited this church. The inside was beautiful. The church watcher spoke a bit of English and told us a lot about the paintings and statues. We found it interesting.

You just need to be there and experience the spiritual transfiguration in your soul. The history and the story behind is devine. It is not just a monument.

Since the purpose of our three-day visit to Santarem was to enjoy the relaxing luxury of the Casa da Alcacova, this close-by church was the only one we got to. It's a small church, interesting decoration, an organ. with an enthusiastic and very polite guide to show us around. If we'd visited a dozen churches, this would still have been memorable. Obrigado!

In Santarém most people go to the fortress for the beautiful panoramic views. On the way don’t miss the Marvila church; the simple façade doesn’t let us imagine how rich is the inner tiles decoration; be sure you’ll notice that same patrons are constituted by 144 tiles. Enjoy!

Although Portugal is mainly a catholic country, I'm not catholic nor christian. Nevertheless, I respect other people's religion and I even enjoy visiting churches from an architectural point of view. Well this church is not a very impressive building in comparison with other churches in Santarém. Also, this church is related to a supposed miracle and the people in charge of this building will try to make you believe in it with ridiculous effort! This makes any visit here extremely unpleasant.

A surprising church that from the outside doesn't look like much, but has a really nice interior covered in azulejos. If you are around give it a look.

A beautiful, spacious church with good lighting.
The main altarpiece is in need of work, or so it seems, but it is a pleasant and beautiful temple to visit.
