If anyone visits any Budhist monasteries, he has a very spritual feeling. And same goes with Enchey monastery at gangtok. One of the must visit place in this beautiful city.

Another typical Monastery in Sikkim with all the usual features. Quite small this one and if busy you cannot go inside.

'Enchey' means Solitary and this Monastery which was earlier a Gompa and later got developed into a full fledged Monastery around a small village in Gangtok.The surrounding is very pleasant and serene and so we felt good visiting the place.

The Enchey Monastery is located with in Gangtok and can be covered under the sightseeing tour.... It's a small monastery but a very peaceful place....

To teh best of my knowledge, the monastery is ope all days of the week and teh normal visit timings would be between 9 am and 5 pm.
