Nathula Pass is one of the most touristy destination. You need to take a permit in advance for going there and only Indian nationals are allowed. My hotel arranged for the perimit even before I reached there.

Visited with my wife and 2 yr old kid. The place is gud but you are not allowed to take snaps at the border post as per army instructions. The weather changes very frequently. Cold winds blowing in oct18 first week.
When you go to this place you would be awestruck .
i visited it on the 4th of october 2018, we were welcomed by a snowfall , which was an pleasant surprise.
