The botanical garden is not well maintained. It has 4 "attractions" - 1) Kid's Play Area - Nothing special here, just like any other kids park with swings, see saws, etc. 2) Lotus Pond - The pond was dirty without any Lotus. 3) Musical Fountain - No water in the fountain. 4) Toy train - Out of Order. The trees... More

Clean, green and beautiful garden to spend the day. It has pretty flowers, huge trees, amazing play areas, and nice statues. It is great for photography. Entry fee is around Rs 40. It has huge open spaces and greenery. Must visit!

Nothing very unique about the place. One time visit recommended if you've exhausted other important tourist places in the vicinity. Why -- for its flora, the fact that Life of Pi was shot here, swings and space to run around for your kid, serene. Make sure you visit when it is pleasant.

Recent additions are a swanky air conditioned restaurant and a jogging track. There is a small well maintained Aquarium too. There is a Nature Centre with exhibits, library... More

We realise they are working to upgrade these Botanical Gradens, but in the meantime they make you feel quite sad...they just feel so uncared for.

Much better labelling of trees expected. Could not find the aquarium! What is a toy train doing in a botanical garden?
