Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been visiting Tenerife on and off for around 30 years. We have always been fans of Los Christianos whilst the cleaning up and modernising of Las Americas now sees two ideal holiday destinations flourishing side by side with roads and the beach side walkway linking them and bringing them closer together.
Los Christianos Beach has been tastefully developed to support tourism whilst the commercial units, shops and restaurants/cafes that have grown and become embedded along the walkway that separates the beach/sea from the town adds both value and quality to this part of the town making it a desirable and enjoyable experience for the perambulating visitors and locals- Los Christianos has become a melting pot of Europe’s population, cultures and languages.
One can also report that the harbour has developed along with the town and beach. It is professionally managed and run with local fishermen, tourist boat trips and commercial sailing, ferry boats have regular trips in and out of the harbour, be it to near by Gomera or the rest of the Canary Islands/ the World.
A place to be savoured and enjoyed.

We have been many times to Los Cristianos and every visit we will always spend a day rambling along the harbor. It is such a relaxing place but very close to the bustling shops and restaurants. Great for kids and couples. Enjoy it.

Returned our Cicar car to their office in the harbour terminal, after collecting it at the North Airport.
Plenty of allocated parking & short walk to the office, with no problems.
Afterwards up the steps to the recently re-opened seawall walk. The seawall walk had been closed while the wall was strengthened with many many concrete blocks.
While there we were able to watch the Armas ferry docking.

The harbour at Los Christianos is similar to many other working harbours in Spain, Balearics and Canaries. There's a busy port, and a beach, and water activities, and loads of bars and eateries, and good things to see.

For example, ferries to and from La Gomera, Santa Cruz, and La Palma are in and out all the time. You catwalk out to the end of the harbour wall and watch them turning and docking at really close quarters. Kids in particular would love it, and if you don't happen to live by the sea it opens new vistas. Plus you get a good view inland at the volcanic nature of Teneriffe.

Always something to watch happening. Weather its the Ferry's docking/leaving Harbour, or other boats. Plenty of eating and drinking places. Very safe for young children, as away from roads. Good access to the beach. Lots of souvenir shops to browse,

We travelled on bus from Costa Adeje to visit Los Cristianos. We found the entire area very tired, dated and shut up. I assume the area has been effected by covid and the lack of cruise ships visiting has had a major effect on businesses. They need to pump a lot of money into the area to make it appealing for the modern day tourist.

Very nice atmosphere, this little part of Los Cristianos takes you back to how this village was 10 years ago. With little bookstores, little pizza restaurants and small streets this is your place to go if you go for authentic! It's also the start place of many tours and it's close to Playa de las Vistas. Tip: want to go on a day tour but not with your kids? There is a daycare in the San Telmo shopping center at Playa de las Vistas, a five minute walk from the harbor! They're amazingly flexible and super with kids from all over the world!
