    Not a great deal here
Nice beach, sunbeds if your early enough. Cheap eateries,British trying to run you over in mobility scooters, the obligatory tourists shops . What you get is the sun ,otherwise you could be in any resort in England...Blackpool is the closest resemblance .

Cristianos unsuitable for and unfriendly to disabled
Have been in Cristianos many many times. This time, my wife needed to use the disabled toilet in the Administration Building on a Sunday afternoon but the female Security guard would not open it for her in spite of pleadings and directed her to the regular toilet instead. While this was totally unsuitable she tried to use it but the Security guard then banged on the toilet door several time as she thought she was taking too long. There must be a violation of rights here somewhere. If you are disabled, avoid Cristianos!

The sea is not only for swimming!
Lovely wide beach with gently sloping sands into the water. And at the reasonable cost of only 3 euros to hire a lounger it has to be the best beach in Los Cristianos. They have installed more beach toilets since our last visit some years ago - but they are really poorly maintained - resulting with many ‘bathers’ spending a penny up to their waists in the sea! With no toilet seats, no soap and no toilet roll they are a complete disgrace. Surely, there must be a better offering for the thousands of visitors who keep the local economy thriving. And what is the point of having a disabled toilet that is permanently locked?

We came in October and the beach was not busy, always two beds and an umbrella available (for just 9€). Apart from the harbour the view is nice but unfortunately the water is not. Bathrooms and showers are ok. As of today you can do kayak, scuba diving, rent a pedalo and trips with boats are available every day. I'm my opinion playa Las Vistas nearby is better (12€).

Nice beach but a bit overcrowded at the height of peak season. Depending on what you're into, if you want seclusion, peace and quiet, my time, etc, then this isn't the place for you. Now if you like sharing your beach with a thousand or so other souls, shoulder to shoulder, with facilities right on your doorstep, beach hawkers, bouncy balls, etc, then, this is the place to be.
Preferably, I would go up to the bus station, which is very busy, so plenty of chances to escape, ask them in the info booth where to go, then go there, and have some space and peace with my flask and a sandwich.

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about, it’s very brits abroad and the whole place looks a bit tired and tacky.
We will try Grand Canaria next time I think. Great paragliding and water parks close by though.

I last came to Tenerife in the late 80s early 90s and Los Cristianos was seen as Playa de las Americas poorer cousin. My how it has changed, it’s now a vibrant resort with lots of bars, restaurants and shop. The beaches are grand too, there is a cost of €4 for a sunbed if you need one. All in all not what I had expected it’s better than I use to see it.

It's a beautiful beach with all the facilities. It had toilet and showers. The sunbed with parasol was available for 6 euro. The sand was was smooth but hot in the afternoon. The beach is quite long with many hotel on the way. It was nice to watch big ferries coming and going from nearby harbour. At the same time equally good was the promenade with a lot of bars and restaurants. The promenade was very good for a long walk. Though we visited in the afternoon but we were told it's very lively in the evening also.
Worth visiting...

Another beautiful beach with soft sand and gently waves for paddling/swimming in. The beach is a hive of activity with the very active people playing the very popular volley ball. Some real champions to be seen here!

Went on a Sunday so super busy with Spanish families down by the sea, it seemed more tourists are further up on the loungers which you can hire (i think they were around €6 for the day woth umbrella) but we wanted to be nearer the sea so could see daughter. Very busy but the sea is sectioned off so safe to swim and look at the harbour in shallow(ish) water. You can sit and watch all the boats sail in and out which was nice.
Be careful as the sand is incredibly hot so .are sure you have flip-flops and a towel to sit on. Some bars and restaurants off the beach but didn't notice any public toilets.

Beautiful, wide and rather long beach, divided into two with the port in the middle. It has lateral rocks for protection and two bays where the waves are mitigated. Transparent water and beautiful sandy seabed make it, in my opinion, the most beautiful on the south coast. Equipped beach with lifeguards, wide seafront with paved avenue, plants of different species and many benches to sit on. Shops of all types and many places to have lunch or drinks.
