It's so close to town it would be a mistake to miss it. You can walk from your hotel across the bridge in no time - it's about 1.5 km - climb up and enjoy the view. The stairs look a bit weird but are...More

Not well maintained, even dangerous to go up and down the steep iron stairs. Better enjoy the tower with a cold beer from the other side of the Mekong or go to the Olympic size swimming pool in town.

The old French lighthouse gives you good views over the riverside promenade on the other side of the river. Sunsets should be revarding, if you have good weather. Beware that the stairs/ladders up are very steep!

A visit is made all the better if you know the history. Very accessible but the climb to the top not for everyone.

The tower looks especially beautiful when it is seen from the Mekong bridge. I'm not sure what was its purpose but it looks nice and unusual.

If you even THINK you might have vertigo or if you have a bad back or bad knees this isn't one for you. If you're looking at the lighthouse from the 'mainland' you can walk to the base of the Kizuna bridge and you'll find...More
