Through this experience, you will discover the artistic enclaves of Tlaquepaque and Tonala!

We will begin with a visit to the most majestic boutiques, galleries and markets, where you will get to appreciate a great variety of handicrafts, blown glass, pottery, textiles, jewelry, and more. We will also admire the astonishing work of the National Ceramic Award winners at El Refuio Cultural Center.

Then, I will take you behind the scenes to a family-owned workshop to observe the finest ceramic techniques. Lastly, we will taste the local cuisine while listening to the best Mariachi bands in town!

Before we leave, we will visit the coolest tequila store in the world, jam-packed with artisanal brands that you can only find in Jalisco, many of them available for in-store tasting!

With my advice, we will avoid tourist traps to visit only authentically local sites. By the end of the day, you will have first-hand knowledge about both the history and tradition of western Mexico.

This old house has a beautiful architecture, a lovely patio and it has a beautiful garden worth a towering old tree that is beautiful. The drawback is that it is privately owned, so it is not open to the public. If you have a chance to go inside the patio, YOU MUST. But as far as any sight seeing or tour inside, there is non. If you are keen on getting to know the inside of the house (the patio), maybe the people at the tourism office of tlaquepaque can help you out.
