This place is 1 of several restaurants offering outdoor seating surrounding a central Gazebo. There is always something happening in or near the gazebo. It is a good place to sit and listen to mariachis and people watch.

Spent a short weekend out at Guadalajara for the first time and we happened to walk by this place. Lots of things to see and eat all around this area! Mariachi performances were a plus as well. I will definitely go back next year ~

Large square with shops, tables set up selling many different items. Very interesting to stroll around and see what is being sold, made and what not. The streets around the square also are a part of this, Many shops of many things, Go and enjoy the afternoon and have lunch. Very friendly and safe place to go. Seen many police... More

I recently spent a day with my parents in Tlaquepaque and we found ourselves lost in everything that El Parian had to offer. From shops to restaurants and artisans on the plaza you can enjoy many distractions. It's a pleasant way to enjoy Mexico and it's people. If you are in the area do plan a day to spend here.... More

We thought this might be a bit 'touristy' but, thankfully, we were wrong. Very quiet when the mariachis aren't playing...but quite a fun spot when they are! It's a huge area with a number of different restaurants - and full of locals drinking cazuelas! Gotta go and see the show!

We visited Tlaquepaque in the morning and the Parian was empty which made it an amazing experience. We sat in the plaza and enjoyed the chirping of the birds and the silence that was present. It was calm and it took away many of the thoughts we had in mind.

I came on a Wednesday night to listen mariachi music. There are two shows that run from 9 to 11. You can either sit in one of the multiples cantinas around the kiosk or in the benches. Anyplace that you pick is great to listen to the music. The performers are great. We had already eaten something so we just... More

This is a place to visit if you want to experience a traditional Mexican folkclorico and Mariachi show. Call ahead to see at what time it starts. Our waiter was very slow and he only took our drink order and never asked if we wanted to order food.

Here's where We had dinner with our fantastic guide Jorge Diaz. He took us to visit Tlaquepaque area, which is beautiful as very traditional. Immediately you feel far from the traffic of Guadalajara as the area is not accessible to cars. The restaurant is nice, the menu again very traditional but good quality and the service as always charming and... More

Tired from furniture shopping we stopped on the way back to the hotel for a "quick" bite to eat. Should have gone inside but thought we'd get out faster in the outside space. First mistake. Food was ok but my filet Mignon turned out to be what I call arracherra and it was smothered in a mushroom sauce. It did... More
