Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Every town in Italy has a piazza. The piazza in giovinazzo is a very pretty little piazza. Always very lively at night and surrounded by coffee shops and gelato.

Tremendous amount of free space. Very clean and tidy. Stunning backdrop with loads of quaint cafés and restaurants surrounding the attraction. The church in the background is absolutely amazing. A fantastic place to visit.

Always a busy place where people meet and talk, very cosy and not too much traffic. Bars and restaurants and -at least in October- not overcrowded by tourists.

Pleasant square surrounded by gelaterias, cafés and restaurants. The retired men of Giovinazzo like to sit out here and chat. There is a small information centre at the town hall if you want advice.

This is the meeting place for the locals.Very beautiful view.In the middle you will see see the enormous bronze sculpture of a fontain with water spewing out of these gigantic fish. The piazza is sorrounded with lots of small cafes and a big church.

We stayed here on 13-08-24 for the Grandma’s Sandwich Festival which took place in the Mercadante area. Having deliberately anticipated we took a walk around the town and walking through the center we immediately arrived in this huge square. Very nice and cared for with many benches where the old men chat until the evening. It is the main square of the town and is the seat of the cultural, political and social life of the Apulian village. The megascript GIOVINAZZO is immediately noticeable as well as the beautiful Fontana dei Tritoni located in the center of the square and on one of the sides is the master of the church of San Domenico with its Romanesque appearance. To visit absolutely.
