This island is pure postcard material! There is a reason this is rated one of the best in The Philippines! The island is stunning on a nice sunny day and they also cook up fresh fish, pork and chicken on the island. Diving is also amazing around the island if you are in to that.

Loved the diving off Kalanggaman. The waters were thankfully not filled with loads of other divers. The corals and macro life was just stunning. Really enjoyed it. The topside was a bit disappointing, felt like any other beach and was rather crowded, since we visited on a Sunday.

This literally small far island is good for swim and chill on the beach..but snorkeling not so much.. When i was there, they building up some huts and other facilities (i guess) which is probably be better place in near future.

Visit the place while its still feels unspoiled and natural. Saw some construction of concrete structures on going. Im pretty sure it will become commercialized eventually. I love the laid back and island feel. I hope they stop whatever they are building over there and leave the island in its prestine state.

Needless to say this is an amazing spot... Clear blue water, nice boat ride to get there. A must see when not diving in Malapascua. Can be crowded during high season.

Perfect for chill and snorkeling and also camping. the island is very small, and it has wonderful coral reefs to explore. Strongly recommend.

Great daytrip from Malapascua, there's a nice sandbar where waves crash on either side, making you look like Moses splitting the sea.

We've been to Kalanggaman Island this October 28-29, 2016 and it was Amazing.. We did an Overnight Stay in the Island and it was kind of a challenge because the Weather when we went there was changing fast and the wind was strong but it's a great Experience going there. We started our trip going to Kalanggaman from Tacloban CIty... More

This is paradise in the middle of Leyte and Northern Cebu. If you did some good research about the Kalanggaman expect to get the same. Crystal clear water, powdery white sand and really peaceful island to relax.
