Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you love animals - this is the place to go! So many types of animals, plus you can get up close with their safari tours! The herbivore safari even allows you to pet some animals! 100% recommended

Don't expect too much fun !!
It's a good fun spot and main attraction is lion safari... Other stuff are build around it. Lion safari is live up to expectation though. Other safari is just ok. My kid enjoyed walking and playing around ! Well time spent !!

The zoo isn't awesome but the safari is. The price is really low considering that lions will be in the roof of the truck just like Africa. The place is reachable only by car. If you are in Rancagua for the day it's a must

We came to stay overnight at the "cabanas" with friends and children.
The zoo is very small ( you better go to the Buin zoo for the selection of animals). Everybody has been very friendly but the place lack of things to do. You have to pay for nearly everything additional inside the park and there are very little options. In summary a 2 hours drive from Santiago for a 45 min walk around the zoo. The cabanas also overlook a big area with Lions, however those are locked up in small cages at 19h00.

We went and when we got there on a sunny Thursday without a cloud in the sky, they told us that there was no safari due to weather conditions. I said but it's sunny, the attendant said but yesterday it rained, so we entered the zoo. I thought it had cute animals. We went to the lodge and saw the beautiful and pleasant herbivorous place. But I was upset that I didn't go on the safari, but it was worth the trip. We take beautiful photos

We bought tickets online for 2 tours, the feline tour and the herbivore tour. It went really well! When you enter, it is initially like a zoo, you can see the bear, leopard, etc. inside their cages. Then, at tour time, we got in a cart and went to the field where the herbivores were, it was really cool, the animals come to us and we can give them food, pet them and everything. Then we went to the feline one, the cart is closed, we were inside a cage for our safety. You can't put your finger off, because we got really, really close, it was incredible! But the tiger doesn't like Brazilians lol he messed with me and my husband, but not with the others who spoke Spanish lol

The Tour was incredible and a lot of fun! There is a good structure and the animals can really be seen up close! The herbivore safari is as good as the feline safari!

To begin with, I'm going to talk about the distance from Santiago...they say less than it is, we spent 2h40min on a Sunday. There are tolls on the way, so if you don't have one, take at least 60 reais for the return trip.Another detail:prefer earlier times of the felines because when we went in the hot afternoon they didn't even want to get up from the place, totally understandable given how hot it was. On the herbivore Safari there was no problem because they have lakes to cool off in, they interacted without any problems.

I had reserved the hours to visit safari and herbivorous animals for the day of the visit, then I saw that the reservations were no longer available and I had to do it again. I did it arriving there, in the times I had, after waiting in line, they told me that my reservations were at past times, that I should do it again or go to information. Very bad reservation system per page and the attention of the staff.

The trip is not worth it. The big cat guide does not have training in customer service and should only carry out activities within the park. The Jurassic tour is terrible, done quickly in a car, not worth the ticket. And the food was reasonable.
