We booked the five activities via Scuba Caribe at our Riu hotel. Sense that this is a new relationship and things need to work better. Horse back riding nice but not dashing through the surf as per photos! Snorkel good but a little rushed and no turtles (not that you can blame them for that!), long session on jet skis... More

On Friday, July 22nd, My niece and I visited Punta Venado for a day long excursion. It was truly a great experience. The people who work there were truly organized, and were very good at keeping our group together. Martina was our guide for the day, and she was excellent. We jet skiied, snorkled, had lunch, rode the ATV's and... More

ATV and horseback riding. Jet skiing cancelled to extremely rough conditions. Our guide, Martina was great. Fun and very knowledgable. The ATV excursion was so much fun. Tour of cave and swim in cenote were a great bonus to the riding. We loved horseback riding along the shoreline. The horses were beautiful and seemed well cared for and truly loved... More

We purchased a full day tour through Nexus Tours. The experience was amazing. However there is definitely some room for improvement. It seemed that this tour is on a private beach club for the locals. The grounds have a pool and facilities to accommodate patrons using the facilities. Upon our arrival, we filled out information and you are offered optional... More

We were a group of 15 who booked a tour to Punta Venado thru our hotel representative from Nexus Tours. He was able to give us a much better rate than booking with Punta Venado directly so I was a little scared because of the price difference. We paid $89 p/p regardless of age. This tour was the all in... More

We purchased a jet skiing/snorkeling excursion through Amstar. The overall trip was a good time. The jet skiing was fun (for me, at least). The snorkeling let my kids see a sting ray and sea turtle for the first time in the wild and lots of fish. The guacamole that came as part of the excursion was delicious. However, there... More

We went to Punta Venado and did the "all-inclusive" package. We purchase our package through Nexus Tours who was offering the package for 2 people for $240 USD. However, with the all inclusive, you get to do *EVERYTHING* - atv, explore in a cenote, swim in a fresh water pool left over by a cenote, jet-skiing, snorkelling, horseback riding. It... More

Definitely on my list of preferred beach locations in the Mayan Riviera, this place is great and located 10 away from Playa del Carmen. The entrance is right after Xcaret and CALICA, about 1 mile after these places. Once at the entrance there is no fee, basically the only they ask is: -Don't bring Food or Beverages -Utilize their restaurant... More
