Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went there a while ago and I can't believe the lack of tourist knowledge on this place. Many people still jump off the cliff rocks into the murky depths below. Please be aware that you are swimming where there have been many deaths and injuries. A google search will explain. I guess some people like visiting the cemetary for a picnic, but not this little duck.

The drive alone was very pretty. The pools are gorgeous. Great lawned are and covered picnic tables. The water is clear but too cold for us to swim but a paddle was most enjoyable.

Lovely rock pools with toilet and BBQ facilities too. Small waterfall which acts like the perfect jacuzzi! The drive also makes it worth a visit.

Beautiful place to swim. Both kids and adults can enjoy the view and the water. With the option for a picnic as well.

Excellent natural amphitheatre,
time it right in summer for a swim after a long dry spell if there is talk of rain coming in a few weeks that could be the time to go and grab a coffee and a swim.. otherwise, chill out and drink coffee, relax.. nature is nature.. its not there to entertain you, it's just there.. this area is one of a few and has some run off from the road to the top of the valley.. be respectful .. breathe in some fresh oxygen emitted by all the trees

What a magical spot 🏊‍♀️ We arrived about 8.30am so we nearly had the place to ourselves, which was perfect. By 10am there were big groups arriving. The water is so fresh, what a way to start the day. Highly recommend

Beautiful, tranquil clean rock pool to relax, wild swim and spot wildlife. Lovely scenic drive to get there.
Take your own picnic and bring swimming shoes.

The rockpools are only a short drive away from the Coast and can be visited for 30 minutes or up to a few hours. It's lots of fun to have a swim in the pools but watch out: the water is super cold even in summer.

Very easily accessed, directly on the side of the road. The Om cafe opposite was fantastic, amazing service and very quaint inside.

We went over the Xmas school holidays. The gold coast and Brisbane were jam packed with families trying to find something for their kids to do. The Rock pools are about 40min drive from Surfers Paradise and are a free activity. Just find a spot and go for a swim or sit by the grass. It was still busy here so get in early, it's just less busy than everywhere else that's near a beach
