Based at Currumbin Alley, the Gold Coast's most learner–friendly location, we offer year–round surfing lessons on the Gold Coast for people of all ages, sizes and ability levels. We are a fully licensed and insured surf school with a professional and enthusiastic team of surfing instructors. We are the original surf school at Currumbin Alley and we strive to make your surfing experience unforgettable!

We booked 5 lessons over a couple days as we were only in the area a short while. We had Olly for almost all our lessons and we want to give him a big shoutout for such a great experience.
He was spot on with identifying mistakes or things we could improve on and we could feel a huge difference every time we corrected ourselves as per his advice. Although we booked 5 separate beginner lessons, Olly took note of our individual progress and tailored each session with this in mind whilst teaching the others on the same session. This continuity allowed us to make good progress and we are so happy and thankful for how much we’ve learned from him.
Highly recommend this experience and we definitely will be back if ever in the area again.

My son completed the school holiday program and we couldn’t be happier. The coaches were so kind understanding and supportive. From the first day they knew all the kids names and the coach to student ratio was amazing. Lot of laughs games and lots of skill taught to suit the kids levels. Super happy and will be back again. Thanks so much

Kids had a ball, ages 7, 12 and 14. Well run, lots of instructors, super fun, great company. Will definitely use again next holidays. Thank you.

I had a fantastic time surfing with Currumbin Alley Surf School. I took private lessons with Glen and learned so much. He was supportive, enthusiastic, took safety seriously and I was happy with how I progressed even in just a few lessons. Definitely recommend this school!

We had a good time surfing! Although we had no experience yet, Wade took the time to teach us. Soon we were able to take some waves with his help! We definitely recommend it, both for beginners and for people who have done it before.

The guys at Currumbin Alley Surf School are awesome. My 8 year old son is having the time of his life and stood up first time. They are so patient and explain everything so well. Highly recommend them for your kids or yourself.

The whole crew who run Currumbin Alley Surf School are the best! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My son was the younger of the bunch and they gave him his own instructor to help him out. My son had such a great time! Can’t wait to do it again!

My daughter had a fantastic solo lesson with Maisie - she was encouraging, fun and super informative. My daughter learnt so much!

It’s our second time going for a lesson with CASS and no doubt, hassle free as they provided everything we need. Our coach was Camilla and he was really good in what he’s doing. With his supervision, all of us managed to catch some waves and we were so thrilled.

about location this school? ...I will stay in surf paradise hotels after my education wont transfer for Palm beach area ore Currumbin,,, that Hotel match better stay. If I wont take safing lessons????

Hi there it's quite easy to catch a bus from Surfers Paradise to Currumbin. Our meeting area is just a short walk from the bus stop. Otherwise there are several hotels/resorts in the Currumbin/Palm Beach area to choose from. Hope this helps. Sam
