First thought was why are the other companies telling you a per person price, whilst this one says per bike.
Decided to go with GC Jet Ski after going to the information centres and on personal recommendation.
Note: In the info centres, the other two companies seem to get visual precedence with there advertising. Don't let that put you off.
Glad we went with a bike each as it adds to the fun. One other company said two to a bike, even if you don't know that person! No thanks.
The equipment is all new and in good repair.
The guide (who also happened to own the comany) knew his way around very well.
One item was we didn't know we needed to change before we got there. Had to use the public loos, but they were close and it wasn't an issue. Just a note so you know what to expect.
The ride itself was great fun. Well recommended.
We booked for two hours and were out for a at least 2 and a quarter. Great not to feel cheated of some time you've paid for like some other companies.
A must do and allows you to see some fantastic views.

Holidaying on the Gold Coast overlooking the river and my 10 year old daughter was fascinated by the jet skis going up and down the river.
After searching on line I called Extreme and they suggested the 1.5 hour tour.
We arrived 8am filled out our paper work and had the briefing. Scotty (our tour guide) was a little concerned about how my daughter would manage the ride but with a group of mainly beginners we set off.
Scotty was very attentive and made sure we all enjoyed the time. So a short ride on the broad water to South Stradie for a short break.
Then Back to sea world.
What a blast. I think I was more exhausted than my daughter after so much fun!
Would definitely do it again!

Staff were extremely rude, we understand it's a serious sport however my kids first time were spoken to direct and abrupt. No need for such deflation there's better ways to deliver a message.
We were 5min late after calling to say we were going to be late and we were told at first we could rebook or get a refund. I thanks the instructor for interviening and who made it happen. NOT how you treat customers.

We had no previous experience in riding JetSki but we purchased the one-hour $190 tour because the website said that there is no experience required. We were taken by a trainer to ride the JetSki and he expected me to ride it effeciently in first 5 mins without any proper instructions. He told me that jet skiing is not for you and that we couldn’t go for the tour. We asked for our 60 mins on the training circuit but they said we couldn’t do that as well.
When we asked for the refund they didn’t provide us the refund saying that it was our fault for not being able to ride the JetSki properly.
I had to leave the same day as I was travelling back via Coffs Harbour. I was extremely offended by the trainer’s comments so I decided to give it a go again with Coffs Harbour JetSki hire company. The trainer was amazing and explained me all the basics and I could ride the JetSki in 10 mins.
I think they shouldn’t either entertain beginners at all or if they are doing it they should be more patient and willing to train.

Myself and my partner have been looking to hire a jet ski for quite some time now...We didn't want to do the jet ski tour as we prefer our own freedom and most of the time you have to stick to a certain pace with the tours. We saw that we could hire for 30 minutes and go round a made circuit at our own leisure which sounded great! Our booking was for 12.30, but didn't get onto the jet ski until 1.15....i recommend giving yourself a couple of hours to do this. There was one particular worker on the Jet skis that let the whole business down...He was extremely rude to both myself and my partner. He pushed the jet ski with some force and no spacial awareness so it hit into my leg and cut/ bruised it. When i tried to approach him about it he laughed and turned to his work mates. Overall he made the experience terrible and i will never be returning or recommending it to others.....I just wish i knew his name so i could make an official complaint.

I wish to firstly say that it brings me great displeasure to hear that your experience was tarnished by your interaction with one of our staff members during your visit.
As you may note by our other reviews, this is very much out of character for our team to receive such a review. At Extreme Jet Ski Hire, we pride ourselves in our customer service as a lot of our customers are first timers and we understand that they are stepping outside their comfort zone to attempt something new.
I would very much like to be in contact with you directly so that I can assist in rectifying this, help identify the staff member, and hopefully have you as a guest again in the future.

We did the 120min "Expedition"
We shared a ski
I'd had one short blast on a ski more than 10 years ago. My girlfriend had never tried it.
Our guide let us set the pace so we had the ski near full throttle the whole way!
He was ok with going slower if we wanted to.
Very easy to drive. An accelerator and handlebars - that's it. Would be very difficult to fall off.
He convinced my girlfriend to have a go - well done : )
That means next time we can get one each and I can go full speed everywhere!
Probably one of the best places in Queensland to go Jet Ski-ing.
