We took the bus from Christchurch to Methven and then back a few days later - Karen drove us both times and she really went above and beyond! She was fantastic to talk to and gave us really great tips not only for Methven but for Christchurch as well. On the way to Christchurch, she went out of her way to drop us off at our hostel - which was incredibly appreciated!

We couldn't fault the punctuality and service by Methven Travel. Their refund policy is excellent, especially when accidents happen, as they do skiing. Dave went out of his way to assist with travel to Christchurch to the hospital at short notice. Make sure you book shuttle bus to Mt Hutt at least a week in advance as it does fill up. Thank you for making the trip effortless.

We made two bookings with Methven Travel which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Mt Hutt closure for lack of snow. A huge thanks for promptly arranging a full refund. We will use you again when we return to New Zealand.

Why would anyone take their car up the mountain. This service was excellent door to door. What made it the best was the staff and the great manner about them. Nothing worried them and nothing was a problem. Totally recommend this service. Thanks to the team

I used Methven Travel for Christchurch Airport to Methven return transfers. Our driver, Karen, was lovely and even stopped at Rakaia Gorge for us to take photos on the way. I also used Methven Travel for three days of transfers to Mt Hutt for skiing. The service was excellent, being punctual,comfortable and safe with pick up and drop off outside my accommodation. I felt very safe each day knowing the driver was very experienced in negotiating the daunting mountain roads and fitting chains to the bus. On my second day, a car plummeted over the edge of the mountain road. Incredibly, the two occupants survived the accident. There is no way I would drive up and down this road when the option to travel with Methven Travel is available, so affordable and so convenient. It was all so easy, being dropped off and collected straight outside Mt Hutt Base buildings. I definitely recommend Methven Travel and will continue to use them for future trips.

My goodness what an amazing trip up Mt Hutt. We were so glad we caught the bus. The views were amazing and had one of us been driving we would have missed most of the scenery. Thoroughly recommend travelling with the Methven Travel Bus

I was picked up by Jodie who was waiting for my flight. She was so helpful and friendly. Customer service was amazing and nothing was a problem. We had a lovely chat on the way to Methven and the view was beautiful. I thoroughly recommend Methven Travel to and from the Christchurch Airport and they would certainly be my first contact on my next travels.
