It is a nice caste, the guide and the visit just cost us 2 Euro per person. Unfortunately for us, the guide was a Czech lady who did not speak English. We got some translations on paper instead. It is a nice castle and worth...More

This nice and typical Bohemia castle proposed short and not too 'I-want-to-know-absolutely-all-about-every-single-person-who-lived-there" type of visits. Which personally is enough for us. I am always puzzled by people who get a sudden thorough interest for every single place they visit on vacation... to forget it as...More

Discovered for our family this small fortress only now and very happy that it happened. Without a car it might be a bit of a headache to find it. Loved everything there - from the astonishing surrounding forests (clean, so colorful in October), to small...More

We made a trip to the castle and around the rocks and cliffs. Amazing nature to hike in :-) There is several small castle ruins as well as many rocky hills and paths you can explore.

I would like to say that's main attraction in Kokořínsko. The nature is beautiful there. The castle is small only main hall, and 2 floors. You will see surroundings if you go to the tower.

Nicely restored old castle with great viewing tower. The castle is easily accessible via short walk from parking. The dogs are allowed. The place offers paid tour around chambers and paid entrance to the tower. The fees are really symbolic. As such it is nice...More

It is quite a hike up to this castle (if you park down in the valley) but worth it when you get there. The castle is very old (fourteenth century) but has been recently restored and is interesting as it is now owned by one...More

While only a small part of the castle has been fully restored, it is beautiful throughout. Breathtaking views of the surrounding Bohemian countryside can be had from the towers. A nice hike to the castle will be rewarded when the hrad looms over you, perched...More
