This location you better plan to spend couple of hours to see it all, because there is pandas, chapel carts and relaxing work next to beautiful river. Have to say it is One of the most beautiful forests that I have visited. Yes it's nice to see big thousand year forest but it's somehow more relaxing to see bamboos climbing... More

Worth visiting if you happen to be in Liyang. This area is famous for bamboo and you can get cheaper souvenirs and bamboo produce from the shops outside of the scenic area. The park is huge so it will take approximately 1 day to cover the entire area. Not advisable to travel during the winter season as its very foggy,... More

It was a good walk with great views just to waste time while in Liyang. Would visit it again for the fresh air and serene atmosphere. There's a huge buddha head at the middle of the area great for photo-taking. There were a lot more stuff to do at the top of the place like cable car riding, panda bear... More

We took a quick trip (about 4 hours) through the forest. It was a bit of a walk up to the entrance from the main the parking area. From inside the forest we took the tram partway up the mountain and then the cable cars up. It was worthwhile to take the cable cars up. There are still quite a... More

It was a comprehensive theme park that included mode of transportation such as tram, cable cars, and boats. It had animals such as Giant panda, bird show and butterflies, etc. As a result, travelers were advised to buy the full ticker to cover all these items (but not inclusive for the boat riding).

One of the better ecological areas one is going to find in this part of China, a good mix of facilities while feeling like you're still in nature, no in your face tourist overkill, this is a leasant place. There are lots of options for traversing the area. Most basic is 90rmb ticket which gets you entry access. A stroller... More

A great attraction although you would need a car or tour to get there. Not cheap especially for the funicular railway and it was extremely hot when we went a crowds of Chinese tourists. However the views are fantastic and it is a very interesting trip.

This place is really full of bamboo, you never see another tree here. You can enjoy the walking in the mid of the bamboo forest. The walkways are good (be careful there is no handrails). You can the cool breeze (not a strong wind) through the forest. Don't miss to go to the top. A real amazing view of the... More

The view is very peaceful. When wind is coming, all of the mountains are filled with sound of bamboo leaps. So wonderful. There are a couple of panda. So cute :) Local restaurants are located at the front door but taste is too lacal.

Thank Sulrae
