This pub is of the beaten track. Winchelsea is a lovely little village, Twice we have been in for lunch now to the New inn, it is great pub grub, can throughly recommend it, and the staff are also great.

Me and my 4 friends took a spontaneous trip this evening, we found the food really really good and beautifully presented. The only downside was that the chicken strips were a bit on the skimpy side for what we paid but did come with with...More

Thhis pub has friendly staff and good food. Menu generlaly does not vary much and prices are slightly high but quality of food remains good. There is a nice layout to the pub and it has a log fire.

This is a dreadful pub. Lousy service, poor menu choices, very average quality food, overpriced wine and beer, no atmosphere. The staff turnover is high, so little continuity. Will not be going to the New Inn again. It really doesn't deserve any stars.
