There is, unexpectedly in such a quiet place, so much to see here, from the ruined/incomplete remains of a much larger edifice, through stunning twentieth century stained glass, fascinating effigies (one providing the backdrop in a painting by the pre-Raphaelite artist Millais), monuments and stonemasonry,...More

Lovely local flower exhibition for charities. Beautiful church and grounds. Stunning architecture. Also excellent acoustics for the many music events including the Rye international jazz festival.

One of the most interesting and beautiful churches I've ever visited, in a stunning little town. Don't miss it if you're in the area.

This grand and extraordinary survivor mirrors the fortunes and origins of Winchelsea. Full of interesting glass and monuments. Modern interest is provided by Spike Milligan's headstone in the cemetery.
