This was our second trip to watch these magnificent birds feeding. They numbers in the hundreds and the experience is absolutely amazing. Both times we have been we simply lose ourselves in the splendour of watching these wonderful creatures. The time passes so quickly, and it is difficult to take your eyes off their activities and antics. They are truly... More

We visited the centre when we came to see friends last weekend. What an experience, I have never seen so many birds of prey flying around in one small area never mind the Kite which once was almost extinct. Very highly recommended even if you are not a twitcher.

Called and will come again great walks stunning views and a lovely restaurant but most of all the Kites. To watch these birds coming down in front of you to feed is a proper treat. Great well run place. Please keep up the good work

Easy to find using satnav, plenty of parking and a short walk (once we'd paid in the shop/cafe) to the hides. Lots of bench seating which all overlooked the field where the Red Kites were going to be fed. It was incredible to witness the numbers of birds increasing by the minute, in anticipation of the tractor & trailer's arrival.... More

At 3pm we made our way to a Hide and were treated to a spectacular show. The feeding of the Red Kite. A truly magnificent sight.

Tasty food and lovely view across lake where red kites are fed and three good walks. We thought we would only spend a couple of hours here but spent all day.

Hubby and I were on our way down to the Pembroke area for a trip to Skoma and we stopped at Gilgrin Farm to try and photograph some Red Kites in action. We were not disappointed. We paid £15 each in order to use one of the hides where we could use our tripods. We were made very welcome and... More

Paid in the shop, can use credit card if you want. Then you walk to the viewing huts, plenty of them, all under cover and just wait. A tractor arrives pulling a cart with beef on, The beef is shovelled out and the birds immediately come down and swoop and take the meat and eat it mid air. Also a... More

For anyone with an interest in birds of prey, this is an absolute must! The spectacle of these magnificent birds swooping down to collect their feed from the field just yards away from the hides is absolutely breath-taking. 300+ birds in summer, 600+ in winter. Feeding time is 14.00hrs GMT / 15.00hrs BST. Nice little cafe and shop, easy parking... More
