By far the most educational distillery tour we've had. Guide was knowledgeable and tailored the tour to the group's needs. As Aberlour is owned by a company that also makes blended whisky, we learned a lot about that process and how it compliments the single malt trade. A unique tasting experience at the conclusion of the tour that included un-aged... More

I visited Glen Fiddich, Glen Morangie, Talisker, Dalwinnie, Balvenie and Aberlour. Aberlour, for me, was the best tour - by far. Not only is the whisky fabulous, but the story behind the distillery, the guided and informative tour, the whisky tasting and shop are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much for your review and your lovely comments about Aberlour Distillery Visitor Centre. We were up against some tough competition in the other Visitor Centres you visited so it was good of you to take the time to write the review. Hopefully see you again in the future. This was a wonderful way to spend 1.5hrs, history of the distillery, no BS, the process and a generous serving of whiskey at the end, we had a great time learning all the ways aberlour makes their whiskey past and present with an insight into other methods, the guide had a great knowledge and didn't try and fill the tour... this is definitely worth a visit. We thought that we knew our whiskies and decided to visit distillery to try them out. The experience was great, but most of all the different selection of whiskies in the shop was great. The Chivas group certainly has a wide varieties to choose from, from great blends to fruity malts. great place to... More

Visiting from France, we were impressed by this small and picturesque distillery. It was everything we hoped it would be, and at a fair price! The guide's explanations and commentaries were really interesting and understandable. Nothing is as standardised as in another distillery we've visited, since Aberlour is rather small. We were a small group of approx. 12 visitors and... More

Group of friends went to a handful of distilleries in 3 days. We were almost unanimous on Aberlour being the best. Its a small distillery but because of that we felt the tour was personal and not rushed. We got a big tasting in a beautiful tasting room. Donna was excellent as our tour guide (koma svo!). When flying home... More

Great tour at Aberlour. The guide was really interesting. We had some people on our tour that asked a lot of questions but our guide was able to answer all of them. You get a great selection to taste at the end of the tour in lovely surroundings. Really good value for £14

Although there were no tours, we had an impromptu tasting organized by the host. And tasted whisky only released at the distillery. With the plethora of whiskies, Aberlour stands out with its soft Flavours. We left very happy
