We went skating this morning and were told the trail was in poor condition, rough and bumpy. It was worse than poor. It was very dangerous. It was full of holes and ruts. My figure skates caught rough spots many times and I almost fell at least 5 times. I am now sitting with a very sore back from wrenching... More

I spent a beautiful snow covered weekday at Johnstons and thoroughly enjoyed myself. My reason for coming was the ice trail but I ended up spending more time on the snowshoe trails which were a pleasant surprise. There are a variety of terrains and lengths of trails and I loved reading all the different signage that pointed out the history... More

Greatest snow shoeing experience. Trails are very scenic and well mapped with Interesting nature facts posted along the way. Picnic tables perfectly situated at midway point for a nice rest. The Cafe & gft shop are very appealing. We enjoyed a delicious fireside mulled wine afterwards with a tasty cranberry oatmeal cookie which really hit the spot and warm us... More

A five star experience. Don the skates for a leisurely trip round the 1.2 km skate trail on the banks of the cranberry bog. Add a little mulled wine (available on site, of course!) and you have the makings of a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommended for couples, families... anyone who wants to enjoy a little of what beautiful Muskoka has... More

Fun place to visit the marsh. Wagon rides, even helicopter rides on busy weekends. Taste wines the make on site. Store to buy cranberries, and goods. Usually have food tent great sat to see the country breathe some fresh air. See how cranberries are harvested.

We were at the Jw Marriot and this was listed as something to do nearby . It was worth the visit to this quaint little winery. I've never really been a fan of fruit wines but the cranberry wine has won me over. It nothing like a wine and more like a cranberry juice for adults. They have a blueberry... More
