Small little refuge smack in the center of Nuevo Vallarta. Its quaint and the road is not the best from the main road especially in the monsoon season. Having said that, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. The guide was fun. You’ll get to...More

We had a great visit learning about crocodiles. Although there weren’t many, the vet who conducted the tour was very engaging and made it fun and very educational. There are also goats, turtles, and other animals. It’s not long so it’s perfect for kids. They...More

We absolutely loved this. We toured for an hour with Caesar and loved seeing and touching crocodiles, the most pristine mangroves, and the ecological work they are doing. We afterwards went for lunch at Boca de tomates and saw the wild crocs on the bumpy...More

So grateful for Ceasar and his team for educating us as well as doing so much to save this endangered American Crocodile species. Take your kids! Try to arrive close to the hour as the tours run hourly. Tours are in English and Spanish.

Ceaser tried his hardest, but the place was really small, hot, one had to wait for a tour, and if you speak only English, you get very, very little compared to the Spanish speakers. Really enjoyed the Zoo much better - we even left early.

We visited the Crocodile Santutuary last week, we took a taxi down a long dirt track, past some vultures sitting on a signpost. Once there we was greeted by Ceasar. We asked our taxi driver to join my husband, our four year old daughter and...More

You can ask any taxi to bring you to the crocodiles sanctuary. Our tours are lasting about one hour. Some taxis can wait for you but we can also call you a taxi at the end of the tour.

There is indeed no need to book the tour. There will be somebody to receive you and a guide will give you the tour. In the worst case you can be asked to wait a bit if there is no guide available. But this is only during... More
