Great to find out things to do and places to go. Also for information about road conditions (eg the gorge). Lots of postcards and souvenirs etc for tourists too

We stopped here to ask about the ferry sailings, across to the South Island. We were given excellant advice, saved ourselves some money by timing the trip right, and the helper found us very good accommadation for the night before. The motel was perfectly sighted...More

This proved to be the perfect place to stop and get information as I wasn't sure which way I was going. I also used the free wifi.

always helpful and plenty of information in there regarding things to do in the area. definitely worth a look to give you more ideas of things to do and what is on offer and when

Everything you need to know about new zealand can be found under this roof from hostel / transport/ food / wifi / shower / camping sites/ etc..everything is available at the I- Site throughout NZ... best part is the consultant is not charging any fees...More
