Stopped in on our way back from Wellington. Didn't do the steep walk, just the gentle stroll to the eels and kiwi house. Very interesting talk and feeding at the eels, and the white kiwi was stunning.... Beautiful bush walk, nice cafe and little gift...More

We stopped on our way down to Wellington and decided to stretch our legs. even though the day was not the warmest it was a pleasant walk enjoying the birds and native bush. They doing lots to bring back a range of endangered bird life...More

its a tough climb but worth it at the end. you now have to pay to go into mount bruce before you can do the walk but still amazing
