Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved this boutique cheese store. Stopped by while passing through Featherstone to check out their award winning cheeses. They stock a wide variety of cheeses including goat and ewe cheeses. Taste tested some and bought some to being home and savour. Highly recommended.

Had coffee and a cheese scone at C'est Cheese today. Two choices. Blue cheese or extra tasty. We opted for the extra tasty and I shared it with my husband as it was big enough for two.
It was perfection. The best cheese scone I've ever had.
Tres bon!

A Place we always visit and will do so next time we are in town. Just love it. Loads of different cheses from NZ Italy, France and others. Lovely man wrapped our cheeses in cool bags as the weather was very hot. Thanks.

Awesome place. On SH2. So anyone travelling out of Wellington on SH2, over the Rimutaka Hill, Featherston is the first township over the Rimutaka Hill. C'est Cheese is on your left opposite the Royal Hotel and near the Mobil Garage. Amazing cheeses. All from NZ and mostly local and they will be making their own cheese out the back - you'll be able to see them through the window in the shop! Just awesome. Worth a stop for sure. There's a cafe next door for a coffee too.
Cheese to die for. They're even open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm! Christmas Day excepted!
My favourites are: Fromaglio - soft cream cheese made in Greytown, up the road, with celery! oooo Yummmm. Lindis Brie and Whitestone's Windsor Blue. With pears or celery. But they have a huge range of New Zealand Cheeses and will be making their own very soon. They also have a great range of oils, biscuits etc - all to go with their amazing cheeses. Cheese-lover's heaven. Enjoy.

Stopped here recently to check out the selection, and purchase some cheese for our road trip. The shop is very lovely, and has an excellent selection. My suggestion for you is to work on your customer service a little bit. We got a hello on the way in, we asked if we could try the cheese of the day, to which it was pointed out to us on the counter. That is were the customer service finished. We were standing there for some time, not once did the lady ask if we needed help, or what type of cheeses do we usually like to make a suggestion with. Your shop is advertised on the maps, are you are in a tourist town, so I'm guessing would rely on tourist stopping at your shop. Offering some customer service to your customer would make them buy more, or in our case at least some cheese.

Amazing shop on the way to Martinborough. Stop here for so many cheesy things to taste & buy. The staff are very helpful & able to answer all your questions. A jar of rhubarb butter was a great buy.

My first visit and I was most impressed. A small deli, packed with interesting goodies. Tremendous range of cheese much of which is cut to order. Spices, sauces and more - so glad I found this deli.

Wow is all I can say. A wonderful shop packed with the finest of cheese delights and all that should accompany them. Jams and chutneys, spices and salts, specialty crackers and all that's needed to serve them up. Homegrown honeys and a deli with such tantalizing smells wafting out into the store to tempt your taste buds.
I would encourage everyone to brave the mountain passes to visit this well stocked shop.
