Alpacas have outnumbered llamas in NZ for decades now but it is still commonplace for people to be unsure what the difference is. This is just one small camelid fact we frequently share with our visitors. Good value for money is what we strive to...More

We're glad you managed to find an (almost) dry spot on our alpacas necks for you to stroke. While a tour in the sunshine is what our guests usually aim for, your comment does reinforce the fact that you can have fun at The Alpaca...More

The tour was really informative as we got to know lots more about alpacas and what happened hundred of years back. It was really fun as we could walk and take photos close-up with the alpaca. Thank You so much for the amazing tour.

We lived our farm tour. We learnt a lot about the history of these almost ancient animals (but surprisingly young industry in NZ and AUS) Not to mention the sweet, adorable alpacas themselves.

Worth a visit. The Alpacas are super cute. The place is a farm and a little rough, just like the owners.
