The weather was dead against us,cold and wet and wind.The reptiles were in hiding but the white kiwi was on show.despitethe weather the bush walk is superb and the cafe a welcome haven out of the cold.great soup and coffee well worth a visit.

I should say you can get a lot of collection from here. We just visited it as a part of our tour but surprisingly ended up in buying two handy telephones. A good collection of quality products.

expect to see lots of items, and allow at least 2 hours to view it all, wonderful collection, often visited.. well worth the experiment to view it all.. I have visited over the years.. love browsing there! I recommend it to visitors to the region...More

What a wonderful find! This is a privately run museum with absolutely everything you can imagine inside it. There are even working displays which will delight young & old alike. A needs must visit if you are in the area
