Amazing beach, clean, easy safe swim and charming wraparound into the harbour! Love Whangamata, easy to bike around and everything you need for a beach holiday.

Just love the flat easy walks around the whole place. The beach is great winter and summer and has loads of appeal. Will be back again definitely

I last visited this beach in 2000 before coming back in 2018. When I swam in the warm water and sunbathed on the pale sand it was in December and summer. This time it was May and early winter. I missed taking photos on my...More

We stayed almost on this beach, and walked along most of it's length in howling wind, but loved the experience. It is flat and open, and is a really easy walk.

Sorry for the delay. 10 to 15 minutes along the beach. Nice flat walk easier at low tide of course
