Walked to top and ran down with my 9 year old. Took about 35 minutes. Recently logged so a bit bare but hundreds of native trees recent planted that will be beautiful in 5-10 years. View from top is magnificent
Papamoa Hills is a good way to walk and get some nice views. Also good for running and not many people usually. They also have toilet facilities at the carpark if you need it before you start your walk.
