Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a very beautiful place in itself, literally shrouded in clouds on a rainy day.
It inspires you to meditate, and in a place like this you realize what greatness means.
It's as if you find yourself ...
Not to mention useless, it's a place to visit in Busteni.

Like most of the monastries, this is a place where you can disconect yourself from the busy daily live and you can enjoy few moments of quiet and relaxation. The mountains nearby creates a splendid view and the garden calls you for a little walk. The main church looks to be recently renovated and the small (wooden) one, specific to Maramures area, is more intimate and worth a short visit.

Very close to the city, accessible by stairs on the road to the cable-car. You can find there animals (birds, rabbits, ponies) and visit the 2 churches located on the grounds. The place is quiet, beautiful, clean and a good place for meditation. Would reccomend to visit anytime.

The monastery was beautiful. This would be a great place for kids since there are many animals on the property to look at.

The place is full of spiritual atmosphere and quietness, but also hosts a mini-zoo for children and beautiful flowers.

If you can, make an effort to stop here. There is a lovely story of how the Monastery was created by a vision a monk had only a couple of decades ago. The different churches and buildings on the grounds are beautiful, as are the gardens and grounds surrounding the monastery buildings.
We also enjoyed seeing the menagerie of birds and other animals that were kept on the property. This was a good sideshow for the kids (teens and school aged) to balance some of the really interesting religious art.

A beautiful monastery away from civilization. Easy to access by foot or by car, and when you arrive you will feel blessed. The vision of priest Gherotie Puiu came out amazing, starting from a small wooden church. A clean place and nicely maintained where you don’t feel that the religion is a business. Take your time and visit this place at least once to find peace and relaxation.

A beautiful monastery, in the heart of the mountains, so you can admire the beauty of them. Close to the village, this beautiful monastery is a beautiful place to visit, so be sure to do so, if you are close to this place. It’s free of charge, and you can admire an amazing biew of the Cross on top of the mountain.
