I didn't actually go into the museum/cave since they didn't accept card payment, so that's pretty much my tip: bring cash! However I stood at the beach looking in and it looked really nice.

The Villa of Tiberius is a must see if you are in the Gaeta/Sperlonga area. The small white archaeological museum is very well done. It's light and bright with skylights that serve to highlight the scale of the dramatic, large sculpture found at this site....More

So this place is great even if you don't care about archaeology. It's a very small site...just a small museum (that houses RIDICULOUS ancient Greek statues--very rare, since most got burned in later years) and then the cave where Tiberius had his fabulous dining room,...More

Worthwhile a visit. Three in one, there is an archaelogical museum, the site of the villa of Tiberius as well as a grotto.

This is both an archaeological museum and a walk down to the ruins of the Villa di Tiberio and the famous grotta. The little museum is wonderful with explanations of most artifacts in both English and Italian. Beautiful reconstruction of some of emperor's most precious...More

Was lucky enough to visit when there were very few tourists so enjoyed the tranquillity. It isn't easy to find from the beach but worth the effort.

According to the website it opens 8.30 am to 7.30 pm, ticket costs 5 euro. Only closed Jan 1st, May 1st, 25 December. That seems crazy they are open every day of the week....but that's the official info!
