The tourist office had little to offer in the way of information about the wider area around Kildare, the staff however did give information about areas outside of Kildare, but there was no supporting leaflets.More

Unfortunately at the time you visited we were awaiting a supply of leaflets about other regions . On a point of information, all tourist offices are alighned to particular regions ours being "On Dublin's Doorstep" and will have a good supply of information/leaflets on their...More

The video shows an interesting history of Kildare town. Apart from the video, there was a display of old coins, jewellery etc in the room.

Visiting Kildare for the first time, I was so grateful to find this tourist information center in the main square. I received great advice and they even took the time to come outside and show the right road to take.

My sister and i visited the heritage centre to begin a weekend in kildare. Tom was fantastically helpful and informative, a mine of information and direction. A real treat to visit

The man at the counter was very helpful and gave informationon local sites, the museum upstairs and directed us to a local cafe for a pot of tea.

Popped in for info on local area but found a fantastic display upstairs. Friendly lady put on films of local area for us and gave us a bit more insight to the area
