Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the unique, traditional bridges that you see on any poster or brochure of the Zagora region. It is beautiful and the setting is nice too, but it should be part of a bigger trip in this wonderful area, not a destination for itself.

Stone built bridges that have been standing here for centuries are still very impressive. Actually there are 3 impressive bridges rather close to each other. Approaching the village of Kipoi, the Kapetan Arkoudas bridge will be on the left side of the road, next Kokori's bridge will show up and then Plakida-Kalogeriko bridge will encountered on the right had side of the road. Each is different in structure and each worth the time to stop and watch and each worth the time to walk across.

The triple-arched Plakidas bridge is possibly the most famous in the area, but there are many such stone bridges in the Zagori. Get a local map and check them all out (a day's driving should get to them all.) There is also one gem called the Aristi bridge (not stone) that runs through a foresty glade, and when we were there the autumn leaves were just coming on. I wouldn't have been surprised to see nymphs cavorting, so ethereal was the feel of the place. I have no specific address, but it is along the road from the town of Vikos up to Papingo.

These stone bridges are like something out of a childrens fairytale. Cute yet mysterious at the same time and really beautiful. There are a series of them located in the town of Kipoi in the zagori region of Ioannina. Pop 'Kipoi' into your GPS and drive towards the village, you will see some small ones and also the large one with 3 stringers (arches). Watch out for icy or snowy roads in winter though. Check with the locals if its safe to drive down.

Great three arched bridge above Voidomatis river, nice nature and all the villages around that area with a lot of stone traditional bridges.

Unfortunately we came when there was little water but found the bridges wonderful sights to behold and loved the area. If I had more time I would have hiked one of the trails. Vikos is a very nice area to get lost in.

There are quite a few bridges in the area. This one is among the most beautiful ones. Unique structure that still exist and walkable.

Probably the most scenic bridge around with its three arches. Easily accessible from the road by a pathway down.

This is one of many stone bridges built in Zagorohoria. Many bridges were built as a means of crossing rivers or to get to other villages. It is one of the most famous bridges as it is easily spotted from the road and easy to walk across. The river was dry in September/October when we were there but it is full in Spring. The single arch is a wonderful construction and climbers will often be seen climbing the rocks to the side of this bridge.
