Gorgeous beach. Amazing waves for the expert surfer and gentle enough at low tide for a novice. Mosquitos and fleas can be terrible during the "green season" so don't forget bug spray. Spectacular sunsets.

Beach is nice to walk along and water was warm although not as clear as I am used to. Friendly people and lots of friendly dogs too! The waves can be tricky and may have riptides so be cautious, as there is no lifeguard!

Great for walking, chilling and especially for surfing. Lots of surfers, dog walkers. 3 main car parks hidden amongst the tree. Walks behind the beach.

This beach is a fun place to hang out and people watch with wonderful sunsets and beautiful yoga bodies as well. Pretty crowded lineup but plenty of room to spread out. Very nice vibe there and friendly locals to talk to.

Nosara and Playa Guiones are beautiful sleepy places to unwind and enjoy surfing, yoga, fresh food, beaches, and sunshine. Every restaurant i tried was amazing. An unreal amount of vegetarian options with a creative array of menu options. I'm a intermediate surfer and it was...More

I haven't needed to use one but there are plenty of ATV rental places where I believe it's about 50 dollars a day. You could try and buy one but they do get stolen a lot from talking to ex pats who live here and it might be... More

Around in what sense! They rent bikes with beach tires so that you can ride them right on the beach
