Easy to see heaps of wild pigs on the road. Some pretty disgusting properties that you just want to keep driving past. Good short cut across the top.

My wife and I enjoyed the drive from Coromandel to Whiting even though we had a few showers of rain along the way. There were quite a few places to stop along the way. Stopping to feed the pigs and a visit to Waterworks were...More

Unsurfaced forest road, a bit dusty and rough in places, but a beautiful picturesque drive. I have heard it said that it's not suitable for the faint hearted, but not a problem if you can actually drive!

This scenic drive is almost completely sealed now and very easy for any vehicle. Not recommended for caravans but doable. Some nice views. Watch out for piggies crossing the road at western end.

No price, just an alternate lifestyle who runs a large group of kuni kuni pigs. About 2-3 hrs from Tokoroa. You need to go to the Coromandel area as a destination, great place
