We love smoked seafood so we had to stop and check this place out. The personable young lady behind the counter let us try a scallop and we were hooked. When we lamented that the roe is not served with scallops in the states, she made sure that each one we purchased had the roe included. We also bought some... More

I never ttied before smoked mussels and I'm enthusiastic of them. The originals are wonderful, but also the garlic ones are delicious. Maybe a little bit too expensive.

Accidentally found this place last year and just had to stop by again this year. A great selection of smoked fish, mussels, prawns and scallops with a variety of flavours. Pick as much or as little as you like, prices are reasonable with all prices shown per 100g.

That's what my wife said when she looked at all the smoked seafood on offer. It was extremely hard to decide on what to get, but you are able to get small quantities and have a real variety. We had smoked mussels, prawns, and orange roughey. Packing for travel is also available. We went around the corner to a bakery... More

The smoked mussels were so good I wish I had bought more. The habanero mussels were my favorites but the garlic and sweet chili were good too. We bought an ice pack to travel with. We also got some lemon pepper fish which couldn't compare.

We love smoked foods, especially seafood so just had to pop in to see what was on offer. The fish was so good we visited again the next day to buy more. Can recommend the Orange Roughy and Kingfish. Wish we lived closer !

A great tasting experience, they have plain smoked mussels or others with lots of extra flavours. They were quite happy to let us just have a few of each. 6 mussels is about a 100grams and around $4.90. I think the plain smoked are the best. The tuna was very good too. Take away only, basic shop with no frills.

Be careful, be very careful. If you love smoked food, as I do, only shop here with a good trusted friend to drag you out when you try buying up the shop. I have certain favourites in the smoked seafood category and all were there. Smoked to perfection. The lady there allowed me to select a couple of these, four... More

When I new we would be in the area I planned for us to stop here and pick up some freshly smoked fish for a picnic lunch. There is a wide range of fish and shellfish on offer with different curing and smokey flavours along with other goodies to buy. Nothing quite like it!

This little Smokery in Coromandel makes the most delicious smoked fish. From mussles and oysters to tuna and all sorts of local fish including scallops and prawns. As a chef, who smokes all his own food, this Smokery has some excellent products. Not to be missed. Dive in and buy a selection, pop on some like dressed salad from 4... More
