Great view over the island and the sea. Sone interesting stories and facts on the way up - which has small and tight stairs but are easy to climb. Certainly worth a visit!

There is so much beach I can't imagine it gets crowded in the summer. There's just that much of it. Nice place to walk even in cooler weather.

This 80 meters height lighthouse at the northern tip of the island offers stunning views on a great part of the island and on the neighbour island of Vlieland.

No worries about no Dutch. Everyone speaks English in Holland. And for safety I would say it is perfectly safe. Just don´t rely on warm water in the sea... It is the North Sea after all. Staying the night is possible, there... More
