Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Goddess is absolutely stunning. Even though the temple is not finished, I found the atmosphere very therapeutic and I was lucky enough to spend some time alone with this amazing monument. Peaceful place to think and reflect.

This was recommended to us on the return to Adelaide from Victor Harbour.
The weather was miserable, but this was a beautiful stop off. Nothing prepares you for the size of the Goddess, and for the size of the beams of the temple under construction.
The shrine is a welcome peace.

A Very Peaceful, Surreal, Calming Spiritual place. The Goddess Statue is HUGE and awe inspiring. Her eyes are captivating. Well worth a visit and to spend a little time in Thought and Personal Prayer during our busy lives. Highly recommend visiting this blessed site and temple. We left feeling blessed and at peace. We WILL return when next in the area. Looking forward to the actual completion of this whole site. Good things take time....

Hoping for Zen time turned out to be as stressful as driving there! A whole 5 mins to take a couple of pics is all that the site can offer at this point. Statue is beautiful but that's all. In the making since
2011, you'd expect it to be complete with cemented paths for wheelchair bound etc., benches, undercover areas.... Nope sweet FA. Oh and an abandoned vehicle dumped on entrance to complete your healing journey 🙏🤣

This is a totally out of place temple. It is not in keeping with the history of the area. It is a blight on a magnificent view. It is a classic example of local councils after the tourist dollar at all costs. An SA fail.

We turned up about 5pm and the place was all locked up- it looked spectacular from the car park(!) but that was as close as we got. The opening hours from memory 10 - 3pm but check in advance!!

I drive past this statue and site every second weekend. Construction of the main building doesn't seem to have moved in months? Is something wrong? In its half-completed state, seemingly without any building activity, it is an eyesore in such a beautiful place.

The energy and presence that exudes from that temple and surrounds is sensational! I loved my time spent there on Sunday..I shall return..I felt inspired, and revitalised at the enormity of spiritual presence. We also enjoyed immensely having lunch on site .An experience not to be missed.

I took my first visit to the Nan Hai Pu Tou Temple of the recent June long weekend with insterstate visitors. We arrived only minutes before the official closing time, however one of the staff on the property (I think her name was Analie) invited us in and encouraged us to view the interior of the temple as well as the 18m Goddess Statue afterwards. Analie was a wealth of information and shared various pieces of relevant information with us regarding the temple, statue and other Buddhist temples in the Adelaide area.
She also gave us recommendations to get the best costal views on our travel home.
The whole property is still under development, and the impressive plans were on display for public view in the Temple. When construction has been finished, which may take a while as they are reliant on donations, I'm certain it will be a very impressive attraction for sure :)
Thankyou for a first great impression and experience.

I am very surprised that the temple was placed in this location, just seems a bit out of place. In the dairy, beef and logging district of the Fleurieu Penisula. A bit of a miss-match.
