When compared to Ysselsteyn german cemetery up north, Margraten takes in 3-4 times the area, but everything is laid out in blocks, so you need to know who you are looking for, it is however a good experience.

My uncle was killed in WWII a and is buried at Margraten. I have visited the gravesite. The cemetery is beautiful and very well kept. The Dutch community adopt our soldiers Gravesites and visit them on a regular basis with flags, flowers and honor. They...More
